Overview

This will be a silent walk so we can awaken our senses to the sounds of wildlife, water, and wonder. The trails pass along ponds and through woods. We will take our time. Trail has uneven surfaces including roots and low bridges and it is not suitable for strollers. The hike is family friendly and invites anyone who would like to explore this area at a relaxed pace. No pets are allowed in the Wildlife Refuge. Please come prepared for mud and ice on the trail. Wear sturdy shoes/boots and warm socks that may get wet and dirty. Dress in layers including warm hat and gloves. Bring water and snack. Please indicate your interest by contacting the leader. Heavy rain or severe weather cancels.
