Overview

This is should be an easy 2-3 mile loop with historic features. Beginners are welcome. I intend to do the loop 2x for those who want a longer hike. We will start from the cul-de-sac, and follow the Yorktown Trailway. We will follow multiple colored trails until we reach the blue blazed Giant Boulder Trail and look for the Giant Boulder that had been removed and check out the drill marks that are still visible at the edges of the boulder. We will then, backtrack to the green-blazed Granite Knolls Trail and see some smaller boulders, cross several stone walls, and hike along the narrow trials with many twists and turns. For some, the hike will end when the Happy Ending trail meets the Yorktown Trailway where we began. Please dress properly for the weather, bring water, and snack/ lunch.
