Overview

Meet in the parking lot of 381 Elliot Street, Newton. Please arrive by 9:15am for a prompt 9:30am start. This year, in addition to partnering with the Boston Chapter Conservation Committee, the Southeastern Massachusetts Chapter will be leading along with us. Geologist, Les Tyrala will be our special guest speaker. Join us as we explore the geology and history of the Hemlock Gorge Reservation on a slow-paced, interpretive two-mile walk. No dogs. Driving Directions


Directions from Route 128 (also known as Interstate 95): Take exit number 19 B, Highland Avenue, towards Newton. Proceed to the 2nd traffic light and turn left onto Oak Street. Proceed to 1st traffic light and turn left onto Chestnut Street. Proceed to 1st traffic light and turn left onto Elliot Street. The parking lot for 381 Elliot Street is on your right.
