Overview

Mount Moosilauke (elev. 4,802 ft) is the westernmost 4,000-footer in the White Mountains. It is known for its spacious summit, with more than 100 acres above tree line, which on a clear day affords panoramic views of the many other 4000-footers in NH, as well as west to the mountains of Vermont and north to Canada. Mt. Moosilauke is the tallest 4000-footer between Franconia Notch and the Connecticut River Valley. This hike is on The NHMagazine.com list of "10 Great Foliage Hikes in NH." Join us on this leaf peeping adventure to see the spectacular autumn colors at their most magnificent. This is a 7.2 mile loop trail (approximately 2600 ft. vertical elevation) located near North Woodstock, NH.
