Overview

Join us for a weekend of tent camping and exploring a lake, hiking trails, a fire tower, biking trails, marshes, wildlife, and a boulder field of glacial erratics, all within Pawtuckaway State Park! There are options to rent kayaks/canoes/paddleboards for a fee from the Park. Bring your tent and sleeping gear and the leaders will plan and bring food and cooking equipment for meals. Days are open for you to do your own activities or join with others for a hike or a bike ride. Participants will all pitch in to help prepare the family-style meals and clean up. This trip is open to all ages as there are many options for various outdoor adventures within the park! Fee for weekend is Adults and Kids over 4yo: $55. Little kids 4yo and under: $35. Includes camping Friday and Saturday nights and 5 meals from Saturday breakfast thru Sunday lunch. Contact Carrie with questions: carriemcmillen@gmail.com.

*Fee includes campsite, 5 meals from Saturday breakfast through Sunday lunch. Children 4 and under are $35, all other $55. Fee does not include snacks or rental equipment.

Carrie has been an AMC leader since 2008 and has led family trips for over 7 years. She enjoys camping, rock-climbing, sketching, chocolate trail snacks and hiking in new places.

Amy is a leader for Boston Family Outings Committee. When she's not working on finishing her 48 4000-footers, Amy enjoys looking at maps, reading, cooking, eating, and spending time with her 12-year old twins, her husband, and their energetic Golden Retriever, "Bentley".
