Overview

Join us for an easy/intermediate Tiverton Rhode Island area 42 mile bike tour. We will bike at around a 12-14 mph average speed, keeping slow enough to enjoy the scenery while fast enough to burn off some treats. If needed, there is a 32-mile self guided short cut, with the split at about mile 15. Meet at Tiverton High School in Rhode Island at 10:00 am for a 10:15 departure. Pace your food depending on preferences and appetite. First stop Mile 23 Little Compton somewhere around noon or just before. Hang out at the Art Cafe where they have coffee beverages and teas and some snacks. You can also enjoy with your own snacks/lunch and or pick food up close to Art Cafe at Wilbur's general store, After a leisurely stop to enjoy the gardens, greenery, beverages and food we will head off to complete the remaining 20 miles of the ride. We will stop once or twice at scenic spots along the way. We expect to return to the Tiverton High School Parking lot sometime in the 3pm time frame. For those interested in a late lunch/early dinner we will head over to Evelyn's Drive for some casual waterside dining. Families and kids/youths welcome if with a parent/responsible adult and capable of the distance and speed listed.
