AMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors locally, visit many of our lodges and campgrounds, and join virtual events and activities. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. Overview

A week of Adirondack's quiet water rivers. Camping at Meacham Lake Public Campground (on SR 9 north of Paul Smith's College). Arrive on Sunday, paddle the next five days, and return home following Saturday. There will be five straight days of paddling wilderness streams in the area. Much skill needed, and many lift-overs. Unsuitable for most kayaks because boaters must be able to climb out in deep water onto beaver dams. Registration required, limited to 12 boats. Register early!
