In support of the national effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 and to minimize the risks to the most vulnerable among us, AMC will immediately begin the process of temporarily closing all lodging and foodservice facilities and suspending all in-person staff and volunteer led programming through April 30.

Monocacy Way Cleanup

Date and Time

Saturday, April 4, 2020, 8:30AM - 10:30AM

Illick's Mill, Bethlehem, PA,
Pennsylvania, Lehigh Valley,

Registration is not required for this activity. However, you may wish to contact the leader(s) if you have any questions.

Please note:
In order to comply with Pennsylvania Youth Protection Laws, all children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. This policy applies for all events offered by the Delaware Valley Chapter as well as any other chapter events within the state of Pennsylvania.

This is a cleanup hike / walk / community service activity. We'll walk along the Monocacy Way trail in Bethlehem from the parking lot by Illick's Mill and the AMC office down to the Burnside Plantation and back, collecting trash discarded along the trail. The trail meanders along the Monocacy Creek and through the woods, past the paint mill pond. The trail may be muddy in early April, so wear boots and bring along a trash bag. Heavy rain cancels. On the following Saturday, April 11th, CAT will be leading a work trip on southern half of the Monocacy Way, between Union Blvd to the Burnside Plantation.
