Overview

Have you ever wanted to try out camping with the whole family but did not know where to start? Join us for an introduction to family camping. Friday afternoon we gather at Cardigan Lodge to collect camping supplies and venture (not too far) into the woods to set up a backcountry tent site. We will set up tents, head out for a hike, cook our meals on camp stoves and share camp stories before retiring to our tents for the night. We will follow techniques to Leave No Trace© of our visit and share plenty of helpful tips to plan your own camping adventures in the future. Designed for families with children ages 6-10.
