On Friday, we will cover approximately 10 miles. We will start off hiking from the town of Sinnemahoning ascending about 1000ft to the top of the plateau than onto flats of mountain laurel and ferns ending at Brooks Run Fire Tower. Saturday, We will cover approximately 11 miles taking us to Moore Draft, with a few ascents and descents and multiple water crossings including a few small waterfalls on the way. On Sunday, We will cover approximately 14 miles. We will start off hiking along McNuff Run stream to Salt Run and Buffalo Switch Hollow along Crooked Run road passing beaver dams and Aspen trees, ending at the northern trail located in Sizerville State Park. We will be hiking through secluded meadows, traversing several ridges with a few vistas, along streams with small waterfalls that will include wet stream crossings. The trail consists of old logging roads and some smaller cross section trails and is an isolated and demanding point to point 35 mile hike. Total elevation gain will be 6,214 ft.
