Join us for this 2 day thru hike from Wind Gap to the Delaware Water Gap on the AT. We'll hike approximately 15 miles total, 9 miles on day 1, 6 miles on day 2, and make camp in a field with a grand overlook facing due east (water available). Sunrise can be spectacular. The final 4 ½ miles affords great views of the Delaware water gap area from the ridge as we approach Mt Minsi and descending to the river. There is one significant 600 ft. climb with the remaining distance generally flat with some ups and downs. Total climbing elevation change is about 1600 ft. The trip starts at 8:00 AM Saturday with a shuttle to the start and we should be back at the cars before noon on Sunday. Optional post-hike meal. For folks with limited backpacking experience this is a good trip to hone your skills, but it's not a good 'first' trip owing to the initial climb and 9 mile first day. If we haven't backpacked with you previously, you'll be wait-listed until we have a chance to talk.

I've been hiking and backpacking pretty much my entire life. I've planned and executed adventure trips for groups, including Scouts for years. My goal is to spend as much time off the pavement as possible. My challenge is to convince others to join me.
