Overview

Join other families with teens/tweens on the leader's favorite loop hike over Welch & Dickey Mountains at the southern end of NH's White Mountains (near Waterville Valley)! This exciting loop hike travels up exposed rock slabs with dramatic views and panoramas of Mt. Tripyramid and the Sandwich range. The hike is 4.4 miles and includes 1800 ft of elevation gain. This hike is geared towards families with teens and tweens (10+). Although part of the Beginner Hiking Program for Families, a prior hike(s) is strongly recommended. This hike is part of the AMC Family Beginner Hiking Program (BHP). We encourage you to sign up for BHP if you have not already, however, you aren't required to be part of the program to go on this hike.
