AMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors locally, visit many of our lodges and campgrounds, and join virtual events and activities. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. Overview

Work on your paddling skills and confidence so that you can do more than just "get down a river". We will spend the day working the many features of a short section of T'ville. Practice strokes, river reading, eddy turns, peel-outs, ferrys, sets, even side- and bow-surfing. If you are not sure that this instruction is for you, contact the leader. NOTE: This trip requires a short shuttle which could be walked.
