Overview

In this 2-part, interactive course, we will recognize the power of young people and the power of narrative to better advocate for youth outdoors. We'll also look at the historical connection of youth in nature and the intersection of youth culture and the role of the natural world within modern history to inform your advocacy efforts. This workshop is specifically tailored towards educators, but anyone interested in advocating for youth in nature is encouraged to attend!
