AMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors locally, visit many of our lodges and campgrounds, and join virtual events and activities. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. To support contact tracing and hands-free signing of the AMC liability waiver, online registration is required for all in person AMC events.

Overview

Our 25th annual exploration of Adirondack waterways by canoe and kayak to view the scenic fall foliage! Stay at Lewey Lake State Campground. Explore Indian Lake, Miami River, Jessup River plus a short hike to a falls. The Adirondacks at this time of year are spectacular! Meet Fri. night for adventure, great stories, and friends new and old. Register early, space is limited to 10 experienced paddlers. We will follow AMC COVID-19 guidelines and prepare our own meals, safely distancing always. If accepted, you will book your own campsite individually. Very likely a robust waitlistee will move in and reimburse you for your slot should uncertain health or contacts befall you. DO NOT BOOK CAMPSITE PLEASE UNTIL YOU RECEIVE EMAIL CONFIRMATION THAT YOU ARE AMONG THE 10.

AMC Trip Policy

Cost*

Adult: $4 member / $4 non-member
*$4 goes to support the AMC kayak and canoe club ($2 for the 1st day, $1/day for the following days). Expenses for camping and food will be your own responsibility. We will share contributions to campfire wood..
