AMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors locally, visit many of our lodges and campgrounds, and join virtual events and activities. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. Overview

Wilderness First Aid (WFA). 16 hours class on how to deal with back country medical problems when the hospital is more than 24 hours away. Topics covered are bleeding, bandaging, splinting, shock, scene safety, incident management, snake bites, anaphylaxis, heat and cold related injuries, patient assessment, patient care. Students practice hands procedures through multiple scenarios. Fast pace information packed two day class
