AMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors locally, visit many of our lodges and campgrounds, and join virtual events and activities. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. To support contact tracing and hands-free signing of the AMC liability waiver, online registration is required for all in person AMC events.

Overview

Spend your weekend exploring the outdoors on snowshoes. Embark on easier or moderate snowshoe hikes to stunning views of Crawford Notch, gorgeous frozen waterfalls, or serene lakes. Learn winter hiking safety and tips for winter comfort in a fun, small group setting. Our knowledgeable Outdoor Guides will open your eyes to winter natural history - learn to read signs of animal activity, understand winter ecology, and identify the plants and animals that thrive in winter. All our weekends are led by AMC Outdoor Guides, experienced, well trained, and fun to spend the weekend with. Join the fun!
