Overview

Join us on this exclusive women-only excursions into the wild- female participants, female guides. These trips offer the spirit of adventure in an encouraging and supportive atmosphere! This weekend is designed for active adult women seeking to learn new outdoor skills and enjoy great hiking among good company in Crawford Notch. Participants will learn essential skills such as: hiking safety, map reading and basic compass skills, Leave No Trace©, camp cooking, and more, all with a winter focus. Hikes will be moderately challenging, including a potential summit attempt on a nearby peak. Program Highlights: Participants will learn outdoor skills: Hiking Safety with Winter Considerations (stream crossings, snow, ice, inclement weather) Map & Compass use Outdoor cooking equipment and techniques Leave No Trace Natural history
