When an accident happens on the trail (or off trail) do you know what to do? Even more important, do you know how to prevent an accident from happening in the first place? This presentation will cover what causes most hiking injuries, what you can do to avoid being the injured party, and how you can help manage an accident scene even if you're not the leader of the group. Hosts are Richard Dabal, the NY-NoJ Chapter's Wilderness First Aid Committee Chair and Instructor and Ingrid Strauch, former NY-NoJ Chapter Hike Committee Chair.
