Take a break and see some pictures of a beautiful and peaceful Himalayan country that focuses on Gross National Happiness instead of Gross National Product. It's a perfect antidote to pull us out of the worries we're having currently. We'll see mountains, Dzongs (temples/fortress), as well as some local culture. During this evening's talk, Ed Sobin will enthrall us with his 14 day trek organized by REI Adventures, which is rated Extreme mostly because of altitude. Many other organizations offer a similar trip, including AMC Adventure Travel. So if Bhutan is on your bucket list, then this is must-see presentation. Ed is a popular speaker who has shared many of his adventure travels with us. Ed is also the Leadership Chair for the New York-North Jersey Chapter and an avid hiker and cyclist.
