(best time to call: NCA 9:30 PM)

I've led outings since the late 1970s for a variety of clubs. I'm currently leading for the Adirondack Mtn. Club, the Appalachian Mtn. Club and Mohonk Preserve. These outings have included day hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, x-c skiing, cabin trips, day paddles and paddling/camping trips in canoe or kayak. I particularly enjoy leading overnights.

I am a recently retired educator who always made learning about nature and interacting with the natural world a priority for my students. I am beginning my leadership role with AMC where I have been a member since 2017. I enjoy backpacking/hiking because it gives me an excuse to eat handfuls of roasted nuts and peanut M&Ms.
