The trails are finally reopened, after months of temporary closure for logging in the area. Enjoy this 4.7 mile intermediate hike with views from steep open ledges and summits. Plan to use snowshoes, but please carry a traction device (like microspikes) in case snowshoes are not needed at times along the way.

The trailhead is located less than 2 miles south of Brownfield, ME on the west side of Rt. 160 about a tenth of mile south of the Public Boat Launch at Burnt Meadow Pond.
