George Hill Ride Grafton

Date and Time

Saturday, April 24, 2021

Grafton and Westboro,
Massachusetts, Central,

Registration is required for this activity.

Tune up that pedal stroke with a morning ride along country roads in Grafton and Westboro. We'll start at Tufts Vet School, head south into Grafton and then head back north through Westboro center before returning to Tufts. It's a 16 mile ride, about 1000' of elevation with 2 moderate climbs (George Hill and Ruggles Rd). The rider is mostly rolling hills with rest stops. Priority is to maintaining the group and not the destination or schedule. No rider is left behind. We will plan to maintain a moderate pace of about 12mph. Helmets are required; supplies for flat tire repair are essential; lights are recommended, but not required. Riders should plan to carry appropriate snacks and ample water for hydration. Important reminder: A mask or facial covering is required for any time we cannot maintain proper social distance requirements. This will be at our initial meet-up, at stops for traffic, and rest breaks. During the ride we will make the best effort to maintain social distancing between riders.
