Explore the Connecticut River in Vermont by kayak and return to the trip start by bike. This 3 day, 2 night trip will be COVID sensitive, by not sharing anything, except for the fun and camaraderie. We will camp at different sites each night, and explore the river, nature and small estuaries along the way. Two days of 3-5 miles of kayaking and one day of an 8 mile leisurely stretch. Our bikes will be stowed on the first day, then after a breakfast paddle on Sunday, we will leave our boats (and a person to watch them) and bike the 8-mile country route back to our cars, then drive to pick up our boats. Participants must be self-sufficient for food, cooking and kayaking gear and be COVID sensitive. This an easy to moderate paddle and bike.
