New York, Hudson River Valley,
Come perk up our favorite short hike! A local section of trail near the camp needs a some loving care since we were last there a year ago. We'll spend a few hours maintaining the Suffern Bear Mountain Trail between Corman AMC Harriman Outdoor Center and Big Hill Shelter. Afterwards, we'll all jump in the lake for a refreshing swim or grab a canoe/kayak for a fun paddle! For those who choose to stay, you may purchase dinner separately. We supply all the training and tools. All you have to do is bring work gloves if you have them. Wear long sleeves, long pants, and boots. Bring water, hat, bug spray, hand sanitizer, facial covering, lunch, and your good humor! AMC COVID Rules apply including maintaining social distance and wearing mask when it is not possible. Expect to wear masks for the duration of the trail maintenance work. Bring hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
