Twenty Five Miles of Farms and Quiet Roads

Date and Time

Saturday, June 19, 2021, 10:00AM - 1:00PM

Hatfield, MA,
Massachusetts, Pioneer Valley,

Registration is required for this activity.

Join us for a scenic 25-mile ride in the Pioneer Valley towns of Hatfield, Whately, and Deerfield. The ride starts out on flat terrain for a good warm-up and then has some nice hills for getting those legs in climbing shape (total of 600 feet of ascent). We will be riding through semi-rural farmland as we enter Deerfield, where you will be able to commune with cows, horses, and goats. We head back through South Deerfield, where the ride flattens out as we make our way back to Hatfield. We will keep the group together riding at a moderate 12-14 mph average regrouping/stopping for a snack along the way. You will need a road bike in good working order, a helmet, snack, water, and tube to fix a flat.
