Overview

Leader's choice of trails around 4 miles including the OCR (Old Croton Aqueduct) Trail. This activity will be a moderate workout on paved and unpaved trails with a few steep hills. Bring lunch, hiking poles if you have, and good footwear. We'll explore some interesting ruins on our way back to the station. Guests and supervised younger folks are welcome. Retirees are "especially" urged to partake. Take photos. The scenery will be outstanding. Inclement weather will postpone the hike. Transportation: Meet 9 a.m at the MetroNorth Greystone Station in Yonkers. The 8:20 a.m. train at Grand Central (Hudson Line) will get you there on time at 9 a.m. Drivers: Meet 9 a.m. at the MetroNorth Greystone Station in Yonkers. Parking is free on Saturdays.
