Overview

Ready to learn to roll your whitewater kayak? Or want to tune up a rusty roll, or help teach others? Join us in the pool this winter! In five Sunday evening sessions we'll get you well on your way to rolling with confidence and skill. You'll be paired with a volunteer instructor for the first hour, and then get to practice what you've learned for the second hour each week. There may also be limited space for practice only, for those who don't want instruction. All five Sundays are included in one signup. Due to space limitations and host regulations, only whitewater kayaks are allowed. Gear rentals will be available for the full session. Proof of COVID vaccination including a booster will be required. Register or ask questions by emailing me, Susie Carter, at carter.susie@gmail.com, and I'll provide all the details. See you in the pool!

AMC Trip Policy

COVID 19 Information: As of December 1, 2021 AMC requires volunteers be vaccinated or receive a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the start of an event. Participants may be required to wear masks, provide proof of vaccination, or in the alternative a current (within 72 hours) negative PCR test as a condition of attending this event. For your personal safety, you should expect to be in the presence of vaccinated and unvaccinated people in all AMC settings and should make choices about participating accordingly.
