Overview

The traditional AMC Boston Chapter Mountaineering Committee's annual Ice Program is an immersive, 40-hour instructional program designed to teach waterfall ice climbing to students with outdoor rock climbing skills and winter sports experience. We typically focus on the equipment, techniques, and practices that are useful on the mountains and crags of New England as well as ice climbing areas worldwide.

AMC relies on the honor system for compliance. Participants may be required to wear masks, provide proof of vaccination, or in the alternative a current (within 72 hours) negative PCR test as a condition of attending this event.
