Join us on the trip of a lifetime to an incredibly scenic country. We'll travel by private coach as we circle the entire country making frequent stops to walk, hike, photograph and appreciate the natural beauty of our surroundings. Glaciers, waterfalls, geysers, puffins, whales, volcanos, beaches, museums, caves, mountains and oh so much more!! We've crafted a more comprehensive encounter with Iceland than what you'll find on most commercially available tours and at a much lower cost. Plus, any funds left over at the end of the trip will be given back to you as a refund! You'll be taken far afield of crowded routes and deep into Iceland's incredible diversity. We'll travel by private mini bus and exclusive zodiac boat so that we can explore hidden corners that few travelers see. Our itinerary includes Vatnajokull, Europe's largest glacier, a Zodiac cruise on an iceberg lagoon, thundering waterfalls, steaming volcano craters, black sand beaches, turquoise rivers and stark fields of lava covered in lime-green moss. Icelandic wildlife is a highlight, we may spot Arctic fox and more than a dozen species of whales and dolphins. In high summer when our tour takes place, towering sea cliffs are the breeding grounds for 60% of the world's Atlantic puffins and millions of other seabirds. We'll start and end in the city of Reykavik which is easily accessed by air from the east coast on Icelandair. From Reykavik you can easily access all major European airports so this trip can be used as an extension to another European adventure. Once we depart from Reykavik to start our adventure, a local licensed guide will be with us throughout the entire trip helping us to fully appreciate our trip. We'll be guided on hikes, taught about the local history, culture and heritage. This trip can easily be done by anyone since all the walks/hikes are optional and we will have our own transportation throughout the trip. Our accommodations will be in 3+ star hotels and based on double occupancy.
