Overview

Join us on this hut-to-hut adventure as we explore the Pemigewasset Wilderness, a spectacular 3-day trek. Beginning with dinner and a comfortable night's lodging at AMC's Highland Center; we gear up for our backcountry adventure. We embark on our hike up the Gale River Trail before intersecting with the Appalachian Trail on our way to Galehead Hut. The next day we traverse the AT along the Twinway Trail, a remote ridge with beautiful views, to Zealand Falls Hut. From Zealand Falls, we end our trip with an easy hike out via the Zealand Trail next to a beautiful winding river. This multi night trip offers views of the remote Pemigewasset Wilderness. This trip involves challenging terrain including steep rocky ascents, uneven footing and exposed terrain above treeline. Weather can change quickly and become quite cold and windy. PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS: Hiking in world renowned terrain, including summit attempts of Galehead, South Twin, and Zealand Mountains.
