The Nominating Committee is now seeking recommendations from the Chapter membership for potential candidates for the Executive Committee (ExComm) Secretary for 2023. The Secretary is responsible for taking minutes of Executive Committee meetings and the Annual Meeting. The Secretary is also responsible for organizing the Chapter Annual Report from reports submitted by each committee. The ExComm is responsible for the governance of the Chapter. All members take part in discussions and voting about chapter policy and management. Meetings are generally held monthly from September to June. AMC membership is required, but it is not necessary to be a trip leader or a long-time member. COVID 19 Information: As of December 1, 2021 AMC requires volunteers be vaccinated or receive a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the start of an event. AMC relies on the honor system for compliance. Participants may be required to wear masks, provide proof of vaccination, or in the alternative a current (within 72 hours) negative PCR test as a condition of attending this event. For your personal safety, you should expect to be in the presence of vaccinated and unvaccinated people in all AMC settings and should make choices about participating accordingly.
