Overview

Come paddle with us on this leisurely four hour paddle on the Concord River. We will start our paddle near Old Calf Pasture in Concord, Ma. As we paddle the river we will stop at Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge to have a snack and stretch. We can also stop at Minute Man National Park and visit sites steeped in history such as the Old North Bridge. Kayaks and canoes are welcome. All paddlers are required to wear a PFD and have prior paddling experience. Equipment list: Kayak (no sit on tops) or Canoe PFD - required Paddle Sun hat Non cotton clothing- quick drying materials-appropriate for the weather rain jacket/pants warmer layer dry bag to put extra clothing water shoes or sandals Croakie to secure eyewear/ sunglasses lunch and snacks water and drinks

AMC Trip Policy

COVID 19 Information: As of December 1, 2021 AMC requires volunteers be vaccinated or receive a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the start of an event. AMC relies on the honor system for compliance. Participants may be required to wear masks, provide proof of vaccination, or in the alternative a current (within 72 hours) negative PCR test as a condition of attending this event. For your personal safety, you should expect to be in the presence of vaccinated and unvaccinated people in all AMC settings and should make choices about participating accordingly.
