New York, Hudson River Valley,
Enjoy a weekend of personal and spiritual wellness through hiking, paddling, camping, and reflection. Would you like to de-stress and renew your heart, mind, and soul? Then enjoy a wellness weekend at the Harriman Outdoor Center. We will have a happy hour/meet and greet on Friday evening. A moderate hike will be offered on Saturday morning for those who would like to explore the trails in Harriman State Park. You are also welcome to join us for a paddle around Breakneck Pond in the afternoons, where you will experience the tranquility of being on the water. Of course, there will be plenty of time to swim, sunbathe, and simply relax. There will also be opportunities to have spiritual reflection during or after the meals with Jim Om; he is trained in spiritual direction and enjoys helping people process where they are heading in life. The event is sponsored by the NY-NoJ Chapter's Harriman Program Committee Volunteer Leaders. Canoe, kayaks and yoga equipment is available for free courtesy of the New York-North Jersey Chapter.
