Please join the AMC, WMA Family Outings Committee in collaboration with Hilltown Family Center and Hilltown Libraries, at AMC Noble View Outdoor Center, 635 S Quarter Rd, Russell, MA 01071 for a Guided Story Walk of "Hiking Day," by Anne Rockwell for preschoolers and a "Fill a Pack Scavenger Hunt," hike for elementary through early middle school students on Friday, June 24, from 10:00 to 12:00. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate. Pack a family lunch and water for this summer vacation day and enjoy a cookie treat compliments of your guides Dawne, Laura and Susan. Be prepared with a water bottle, sturdy closed toe shoes that can get wet, a hat and a jacket just in case. Sunscreen and bug repellent are recommended. Rain will cancel this event.
COVID 19 Information: As of December 1, 2021 AMC requires volunteers be vaccinated or receive a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the start of an event. AMC relies on the honor system for compliance. Participants may be required to wear masks, provide proof of vaccination, or in the alternative a current (within 72 hours) negative PCR test as a condition of attending this event. For your personal safety, you should expect to be in the presence of vaccinated and unvaccinated people in all AMC settings and should make choices about participating accordingly.
