The Worcester Chapter is sponsoring a SOLO Wilderness First Aid and CPR Certification Class for leaders and leaders in training. The 2 full day onsite in person class is intended for new leaders and current leaders. After successful class completion, participants will receive WFA and CPR certification cards. Classes are held outdoors, rain or shine, in Huntington, MA and limited to 15 participants. Camping sites are available at $20 per night. Camping participants must be fully self supported and bring their own camping gear, food, and water. Preference is given active Worcester Chapter Leaders in need of certification or recertification.
COVID 19 Information: As of December 1, 2021 AMC requires volunteers be vaccinated or receive a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the start of an event. AMC relies on the honor system for compliance. Participants may be required to wear masks, provide proof of vaccination, or in the alternative a current (within 72 hours) negative PCR test as a condition of attending this event. For your personal safety, you should expect to be in the presence of vaccinated and unvaccinated people in all AMC settings and should make choices about participating accordingly.
