Have you ever been curious about what climbers do when they have to poop on a portaledge? Or wondered if tampons are your best option during a daylong winter hike? And what the heck *is* a SheWee, anyway? We hope you'll join us for this fun, candid, and informative session, during which we'll cover how to safely, efficiently, and discretely handle personal care needs while recreating outdoors. This event is hosted by the 20s & 30s committee and SendHers, with special thanks to Central Rock Gym Harvard Square! We aim to engender a safe and supportive environment in which attendees feel comfortable openly discussing these personal topics. While the content is geared toward those who menstruate and/or squat when they pee, all are welcome to attend! The evening will commence with a thirty-minute presentation followed by Q&A and a social hour. Light snacks and nonalcoholic drinks will be provided. Presenters: Cezanne Cartier (she/her) - Hiking & Backpacking 3-Season Leader and 4-Season Leader in Training Deb Conrady (she/her) - Hiking & Backpacking 4-Season Leader and 20s and 30s 4-Season Leader Jess Halvorsen (she/her) - Hiking & Backpacking 4-Season Leader Kumi Wauthier (she/hers) - Educators Outdoors Instructor and SendHers Organizer Freddy Benning (she/her) - Backcountry Leader, Ski and Ride Committee This event is free -- you do not need to have a CRG membership or day pass to attend -- but anyone wishing to boulder after the presentation can purchase a discounted day pass onsite for $20! For liability reasons, all presentation attendees must fill out CRG's waiver prior to entering the building: https://centralrockgym.com/harvard-square/waiver/
