Come warm-up for Labor Day Weekend! We'll begin Friday morning with an easy Class 2 run from Mollidgewock State Park to the Androscoggin wayside. This a nice mix of flatwater/quickwater/Class 1, with a couple of Class 2 rapids for added excitement. After lunch we will move to Errol Rapids a couple of shorter but more challenging runs. This is a great whitewater warmup paddle for those attending our Paddlers Gathering at Clear Stream Campground in Errol. We will be offering flatwater, and Class 2 and Class 3 whitewater runs on Saturday, Sunday and Monday of Labor Day weekend Paddlers will need a whitewater-capable canoe or kayak with flotation and the skills to maneuver confidently in swift-flowing current around rocks, holes, and waves high enough to wash over most kayaks. Kayaks and C-1s must have a tight-fitting sprayskirt or your boat will swamp. All paddlers will need a helmet and PFD.
