Join us in Craftsbury VT where you can ski on beautifully groomed XC ski trails (approx.. 85k of trails!), all in the good company of intermediate skiers. Craftsbury is in northern VT so there is usually a lot of snow, but they have actually added some snowmaking to the ski center as well. The cost of $365 (AMC members) includes 3 days of trail passes, 3 nights lodging (Fri., Sat., & Sun. nights), linens, as well as all meals for 3 days/nights. We're planning a BYOB social hour on Saturday. We'll be staying in the Cedar lodge where each room has 2 single beds, and shared bath down the hall, as well as a sauna. Register early this trip fills fast! Note - this is an intermediate level trip. Those wishing to brush up on their ski skills can sign up (at their own cost) for lessons at the Nordic Ski Center. New AMC-ers with intermediate XC ski experience are welcome to join. Cancellation Policy: Participants must cancel by Feb. 1 in order to receive a refund, less a $20 per reservation handling fee. Cancellations received after Feb. 1 (whether they are due to illness, injury, other commitments, or low snow coverage) will not receive any refund, unless another participant comes forward to take the spot. The $20 handling fee is charged by Craftsbury Outdoor Center even if someone else takes the spot. AMC Trip Policy To address unforeseen challenges such as adverse weather, unacceptable trail conditions or excessive crowding, the planned trip destination, activity and/or meeting place and time may be modified. In that event, participants may elect to join in that activity or opt out.
