Come explore Casco Bay from Staples Point in Freeport Maine. This is a Level 2 + paddle. requires a kayak 14.5+' with two (2) sealed hatches and a Wet or Dry suit is required. Paddles will be the leader's choice and will depend on water and weather conditions. Typically, we paddle 3-6 hours and always remain within 1-3 nautical miles of shore. All participants should have paddling rescue skill practice and be capable of paddling in 1-2ft seas with 1-5 knot wind speeds. We will be in the Group Site #75 for the weekend. Breakfasts OYO, Friday Dinner OYO, POTLUCK Dinner Saturday night. Registration is $40.00 / 50.00 non-member pp for this event. Registrants will be provided with payment options. Participant screening by Registrar. Sunday night is optional.
