Join us for this annual backcountry ski trip in the remote Maine Woods, a pristine wilderness area within the AMC's 70,000-acre reserve. 4 nights lodging at West Branch Pond Camps, a rustic, traditional Maine sporting camp and Maine's longest continuously operated camp, family owned and managed since 1910. Enjoy home-cooked family-style meals, a cozy waterfront cabin, personalized ski route planning and trail grooming by our host and owner, Eric Sterling. Escape to another time and enjoy the beauty and silence of winter at this camp which maintains the American traditions of hospitality and outdoor life. Ski trails of various distances/levels of difficulty, snowshoeing, and ice skating are available right outside our cabin door. Previous backcountry skiing experience recommended.
