Overview

From golden spires and enormous Buddhas to jungle backwaters, towering limestone pinnacles and palm-lined sand beaches, Thailand never fails to impress adventure lovers. Add the unique, world-recognized flavors from the Thai kitchen and, of course, the hospitable people themselves, who go out of their way to host millions of visitors a year - you begin to understand why Thailand is southeast Asia´s most sought-after destination! Get deep into the culture and community by spending time with the locals, discovering their way of life and customs unchanged for centuries. Discover the royal cities of Bangkok and Chiang Mai where Buddhism is at the heart of society amongst the frantic market life carried out so effortlessly in Asia. Immerse yourself in the rainforests of Khao Sok National Park and discover unique flora and fauna in this lakeside paradise. Uncover a true slice of paradise in Krabi where sea kayaking, snorkeling, tropical island visits and jungle strolls through unimaginable terrain will leave you breathless. Our journey begins and ends in Bangkok, the nation's capital. From Bangkok we travel north to Chiang Mai before heading south to explore the jungles, rainforests and spectacular coastlines of West Thailand. Our tour of Bangkok includes the Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha, as well as visits to the world´s largest Chinatown for a glimpse of food markets with a twist! Expect to travel by tuk-tuk (a three-wheeled motorcycle taxi) and on foot as we explore Bangkok as locals do. After we depart Bangkok, our adventures include a guided tour of Chiang Mai´s cultural center, a bamboo raft experience down a gentle flowing jungle river, and a visit to an elephant reserve. In Khao Sok national park, we'll take a boat tour on Lake Cheow Lan. Other activities will include a traditional longboat tour, walking in the rainforest, a cave visit and opportunities to swim in the calm, clean lake waters. Finally, we'll visit the beautiful Andaman Islands by boat for snorkeling, swimming and exploring settlements and jungle paths before we head back to Bangkok for our final night and farewell dinner. Trip price includes most meals, all internal transport, most gratuities and admission fees for included activities. For more information, click on the Prospectus link below under Related Link(s).
