Join us for a long weekend at the Gorman Chairback Lodge and Cabins in Maine's 100-Mile Wilderness. The lodge is a short distance from many great spots - the Appalachian Trail, Gulf Hagas gorge, Baker Mountain, the Phoenix and Norkin Shelters, Horseshoe Pond, and many trails, lakes, and streams. There are activities for every interest: hiking, paddling, mountain biking, swimming, fishing, star-gazing (our trip is at the peak of Perseids meteor season), bird watching, or just lounging and relaxing in this beautiful off-the-grid setting. Several options are available for lodging at Gorman. All options include breakfasts, dinners, and trail lunches. The lodge provides kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards to guests at no charge, or you can bring your own boat. Reservations are on a first-come basis, so register early.
