Overview

Hike 2 of the New England Challenge and it's going to be a big day! We're going to tackle the whole Mount Holyoke Range by hiking MA Sections 7, 8 and 9 of the NET for a total of 13.2 miles point to point and a little under 4100 feet of elevation gain for the day. This hike will require car spotting. This is Hike 2 in our New England Trail Challenge hiking series: There're so many lists and patches you can get from hiking in New England, but we bet you haven't heard of this one; the challenge requires you to hike 50 or 100 miles of the New England Trail (either the same section or different sections) by December 31, 2024. Once you complete this requirement, you can submit your successful completion of the challenge photos on line through the NET website. We are hosting this hike to get to a total of 100 miles this summer, so if you are interested in joining the challenge, you can sign up (it's FREE) using the links below through NET and register for any of our hikes that say "New England Trail Challenge" throughout the year. You don't have to go through these big objectives alone!
