Join us for 3 days of hiking with the Joe Dodge Lodge as our home base for the weekend. Our goal is to tackle 2 of the 48 4k and 2 peaks on the 52 WAV lists. We'll start on Friday with a summit to Mt Hayes for a 7.2 mile hike on the AT/Centennial Trail. We'll check into Joe Dodge Lodge for dinner and our first overnight. After breakfast, Saturday finds us heading up to Mt Moriah and then over to Shelburne Moriah and back to our cars after @14 miles and back to Joe Dodge for our last night. Sunday brings us to Mt Isolation for a strenuous hike up Glen Boulder and Davis Path to Mt Isolation. Once we summit, we will return the way we came. This hike is planned for 12 miles and 5000 ft of elevation gain. Based on hiking distance, terrain and elevation gain, previous similar experience is required to participate in the hikes for this weekend. Joe Dodge Lodge provides breakfast and dinner and sleeping arrangements are in co-ed bunkrooms. We're looking for people that enjoy hiking with a group, following group rules and only hiking as fast as the slowest hiker. Our pace will average around 1.5 miles an hour.
