This is the second of two hikes this summer where we tackle the Belknap Range. We'll start with a car spot at Belknap Mountain Rd at the Whiteface Mountain Trail and then head back out to the Gunstock Resort and the Ridge Trail trailhead parking. After summiting Mt Rowe, we'll take the Belknap Range Trail with the goal of hitting the summits of Gunstock, Belknap Mt, Piper Mt and then finally Whiteface Mt. We'll head back down the Whiteface Mtn trail and, after logging over 9 miles in total for the day, we pick up our cars that we spotted that morning. The Belknap Range is a popular and exciting hike, providing us with views of the ski area and other beautiful peaks in the Belknap Mountain State Forest. This is a group hike; we'll start as a group, stay as a group and finish as a group with the slowest hiker setting our pace. If you are looking for a great day of hiking with some good company, this is the hike for you! Previous hiking experience with this distance and elevation gain of @3k feet is required.
