We are seeking a person who is passionate about the outdoors and who knows their way around numbers and how to make them balance. You will be trained by and work with the current Chapter Treasurer to administer the Chapter's finances. The position requires a time commitment of averaging approximately 1 hour/day with additional time required during the budget and audit periods. Principle (but not all) responsibilities include:oversee the Chapter's bank accounts and approve all cash disbursements; advise Chapter leadership on the financial implications of Chapter operations, work with the activity committees to ensure compliance with Chapter and Club financial policies; prepare consolidated annual budget for Chapter leadership approval; supervise the Assistant Treasurer in the preparation and maintenance of the Chapter's financial records and in the monthly reconciliation of all Chapter bank accounts; and review the Chapters' monthly financial statements. No formal job prerequisites but the ideal candidate will have financial operations and management experience and familiarity with Excel, Quickbooks and PayPal.
