Overview

Do you know what to do if you or one of your paddling friends gets hurt? Do you know how to use an EpiPen and what to do until you can get emergency care for a paddler having an allergic reaction? An asthma attack? A seizure? If one of your paddling friends dislocates a shoulder far from an emergency room, what would you do? If you are concerned that you wouldn't be prepared in the case of these or other emergencies, join us for Paddlers First Aid/CPR. This is a modified Wilderness First Aid course designed specifically for paddlers; whether you enjoy whitewater paddling, sea kayaking, or rafting, this course is designed to give you the skills to treat an injured or ill person on the water and get that person and the rest of your group help safely.
