Come hike a 3+ mile loop trail past beautiful streams, vernal pools and through mature woods in celebration of National Trails Day. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED BY E-MAILING LEADER. Janet Ainsworth, a trained Appalachian Mountain Club hike leader and Guilford Land Conservation Trust board member, will lead you on this adventure. There are some steep climbs, but the hike is generally moderate. Some of it is on the New England National Scenic Trail. Meet at the Bluff Head parking lot at 9 a.m. Look for the blue oval trail sign at the mouth of a dirt parking lot in the woods on the west side of Rte. 77 as traveling north of Lake Quonnipaug. Co-listed with the Guilford Land Conservation Trust.
