Join our Wednesday hiking group as we travel from the Frenchtown Bridge parking lot south along the D&R feeder canal towpath, then walk for a short distance along a country road to a loop within pretty Horseshoe Bend Park. Return on same route back to the trailhead. There has been some new trail work done in Horseshoe Bend park which will be fun to see; however, expect that parts of the trails in the park may still be wet and muddy depending on weather conditions. One short section has a steep downhill. Hiking boots and poles if you use them normally are recommended. Bring water, snacks, and a lunch to eat during a stop in Horseshore Bend Park. Meet at 10:00 am in parking lot adjacent to Frenchtown Bridge. Heavy rain may cancel.
